WE ARE LOOKING FOR PART TIME/FULL TIME QUALIFIED EARLY YEARS STAFF - DUE TO AN UNEXPECTED VACANCY.



MIN Level 3 Early Years Educator. Level 2 Early Years qualification may be considered this occasion. Not Health & Social Care or college based only qualifications.



We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage daily nursery operations while providing exceptional childcare.

Duties



Create and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development with under 5's. Plan & provide amazing learning opportunities for our 'Little Leapers' & be a mindful 'play buddy' whilst ensuring a safe and supportive environment is maintained. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, organised nursery space that is conducive to learning. Support the team by working together to collectively promote the ethos of the 'Leap Ahead Family'.

Skills



Strong background in Early Childhood Education & relevant qualifications in childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Inspired to create opportunities to enhance children's learning experiences.. A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their growth. Strong Safeguarding ethos & knowledge Desire to be part of a 'working family' Supporting children from a variety of backgrounds where challenges may have previously impacted on the opportunities available to children.

Requirements



Be able to work within the operating hours of 7.30am-6pm Monday to Friday ( one position may be considered as a term time only position. To be able to work over 5 days per week if required. To maintain a live DBS on the update service To maintain a paediatric first aid certificate Work a minimum of 20 hours part time or min of 35 hours full time.

Pay

12.50 per hr over 21 years
