We are seeking a dedicated and passionate LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to manage and lead young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role is essential in fostering the development of children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their well-being while encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring they cater to the individual needs of each child. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents. Observe and assess children's development regularly, documenting progress and communicating effectively with parents and guardians. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play activities. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports children's learning experiences. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings while adhering to relevant policies and regulations.

Skills

Strong experience in childcare with a focus on early childhood education principles. Excellent leadership skills to manage groups of children effectively while promoting positive behaviour. Ability to communicate clearly in English with both children and adults, fostering strong relationships with families. Knowledge of nursery practices and the ability to implement educational programmes that meet developmental milestones. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience for all children.
