We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to manage and lead a group of children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of young children, fostering their growth through engaging activities and effective communication. A second site is opening in the coming months close by. There is lots of opportunity for training development.
Duties
Manage daily activities and routines for children within the nursery setting.
Create and implement engaging educational programmes that promote early childhood development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery space that encourages exploration and learning.
Drive initiatives that enhance children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Requirements
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving within the nursery environment.
