Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and supporting their developmental needs.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality childcare in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's development, ensuring individual needs are met. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore. Support the leadership team in managing nursery operations and adhering to regulatory standards. Drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences and well-being.

Requirements



Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting activities to meet children's needs.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 30 per week
