12.72-13.25ph depending on qualification (28,111 - 29,285 based on a 42.5hr week) part time- flexible or full time position available.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 year, especially babies.
Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive nursery community.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Manage daily routines, ensuring the nursery environment is safe, clean, and organised.
Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning.
Capability of following policies, procedures and guidelines.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Knowledge of Montessori method is desirable but not required.
Strong understanding of safeguarding children.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the ability to inspire and motivate young children.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
