We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our outstanding nursery at Saint Felix School in Southwold. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of an experienced, high-performing early years team in a setting known for its nurturing environment and excellent standards.

About Our Nursery


Established in 1998, the nursery has built a strong reputation as an innovative, child-centred setting. We welcome children aged 2 to 4+ and offer a warm, hands-on learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, choose, and take ownership of their learning. With a maximum of 20 children at a time, we focus on providing individualised attention and development in preparation for their transition into Reception.

What You'll Be Doing


As a Nursery Practitioner at Saint Felix School, you'll support each child's early development and help create a safe, enriching space where they can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities Encouraging independent learning through play and exploration Observing and recording children's progress Working in close partnership with parents and carers Maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive environment Supporting the wider team and contributing to our high standards of care

What You'll Need



A Full and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years Qualification (DfE-approved preferred)

Experience working in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential) Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, Safeguarding, and Child Protection A passion for working with young children and a nurturing, proactive attitude
