We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and fostering positive relationships with both children and parents.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, focusing on the developmental needs of each child.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
Support the nursery's policies and procedures while promoting a positive atmosphere that encourages children's independence and confidence.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and contribute to the overall success of the team.
The nursery is open termite only.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and parents effectively.
A passion for early childhood education with the ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.
