Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified or equivalent, Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about delivering imaginative and inspiring activities planned around the children and their development.

The successful candidate will need to have a current DBS check which is registered with the update service. We are committed to safeguarding and therefore all appointees are subject to enhanced DBS clearance and two satisfactory references.

Candidate must be able to

1. Demonstrate a proactive approach, using your initiative and showing resilience to take responsibility for getting things done.
2. Have a good understanding and knowledge of child development.
3. Be able to work well independently and as part of a team, providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage children to develop.
4. Available to work shifts between the hours of 7:20am till 6pm, Monday to Friday (Full time and part time positions available)
5. Flexibility to work with children aged 0 to 4 years, with possibility of working with school aged children in our Holiday Club.
6. To build and maintain positive and professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues of the nursery.
7. To carry out the role of a key person for a group of children as directed by the supervisor/nursery management team.
8. To carry out any such duties as may be reasonably required to ensure the efficient running of the setting.
