Nursery Practitioner Term Time Only
Job Description
Due to an increase in numbers of children, The Village Day Nursery are looking for a part time, term time only, nursery practitioner to work in our nursery so if you can read a book up side down whilst dressed up as a fairy and drinking pretend tea from a cup whilst managing 3 children on your knee - then this is the job for you. We are a friendly team with long standing staff and we welcome new members to our team.
you will need to be qualified to level 2/ 3 or above in a relevant childcare qualification and have at least 2 years experience of working in a childcare environment
This is a part time position for 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7-6, Term Time only, you will need to be available between those hours to work
peadiatric first aid, food hygiene would be preferable
A good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding is essential
There is a requirement for an enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to first aid and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's needs. Assist in managing daily nursery operations and contribute to team leadership when required. Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social and emotional growth.
