Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to manage a classroom environment, and a drive to foster the development of young learners. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development. Manage classroom behaviour while fostering positive relationships among children. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm in all interactions. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
