The Treehouse Club is an multi award winning Nursery group, priding ourselves on delivering high levels of education and concentrating on child and team wellbeing and creating amazing adventures for children and team members.

We offer a 4 day working week, 7:30/8am - 6/6:30pm with a set day off each week.

Key Responsibilities of our nursery practitioner:



Be responsible as a key person for your own key children.

To create strong parent relationships.

To deliver a range of exciting and enriching activities and experiences for the children.

To update children's online learning journals with quality observations and routine checks.

Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures, statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements and to ensure these are maintained at all times.

To have a clear knowledge of procedures to be followed in case of emergency e.g. fire, lockdown, accident & incident procedures.

To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Nursery.

To ensure that the Nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.

To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the Nursery.

To implement and maintain the company's Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.

To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.

Safer recruitment



The Treehouse Forestry Nursery and Out of School Club applies safer recruitment policies to ensure that all of our staff are suitable to work with children and young people. We advise you in advance that two people will be involved in your recruitment process. Both people will partake in your interview and each person will individually review all applications and paperwork to ensure that you are suitable for the role.

Part of our safer recruitment procedure includes obtaining references for you. One of these references must be your latest employer. If you are unable to obtain a reference before the interview from your current employer then you must obtain references from the employer before that as well as one other reference.

References from former employers are preferable over any other referee. Please note that we will need to obtain a reference from your latest employer before completing our processes for you to commence working for us.

We are at liberty to advise you that if there are gaps in your employment history or any other information that gives us cause for concern, we will contact your former employers to obtain further information and satisfy any concerns that we have.
