Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Level 2 or above Practitioner to join our expanding team at Little Lodge Nursery Bransford (formerly known as Little Growbags) which we have recently acquired. It is key for the candidate to have a minimum of 2 years childcare experience.

You will be given the responsibility of key children and be required to plan on a weekly basis to provide activities to develop the children alongside the Development matters framework.

We are seeking for the ideal candidate to work 41 hours per week across 4 days.

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Supervise and engage children in play and educational activities
- Assist with feeding and personal care routines
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
- Communicate with parents and provide updates on their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery space

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and early years education
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating activities for children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
