Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to join a nurturing, award-winning Nursery? We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly and supportive nursery team at King's St Alban's Prep School Nursery.

King's St Alban's Nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment. The Role



Duties will include:

Providing a caring and stimulating environment for the children, in line with EYFS guidelines Fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment Observing and assessing children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys Being proactive in matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, and health and safety.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) Experience working in a nursery or early years setting and as part of a team An approachable, friendly and caring nature A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Safeguarding responsibilities of the successful candidate



Staff are advised to maintain an attitude of "it could be happening here and probably is" as far as safeguarding is concerned and should always act in the best interest of the child.

All staff are expected to actively promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils. This post involves significant contact with children, therefore the postholder will be considered to be in regulated activity and must report any concerns in a timely manner.

All staff must also attend annual safeguarding training and have proper regard for the School's safeguarding policy and procedures.

Working pattern



We are happy to receive applications from those interested in either part-time or full-time hours, working year-round or term time only, on a permanent basis.

Up to 14.78 per hour depending on skills and experience
