Job Description

Painters cottage day nursery is looking to employ an enthusiastic level 3 nursery nurse to join our small and friendly team. We have full time and part time opportunities available for 38 hours and 30 hours weekly.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

Providing fun and creative learning opportunities for the children in our care

Providing a safe and happy learning environment for the children to develop

Being aware of the safeguarding and child protection responsibilities with regards to reporting concerns and following procedure

To act as a key person, being responsible for completing observations and supporting development for your key children

To familiarise yourself with and follow the nurseries policies and procedures day to day

Forming good relationships with parents to enable us to work in close partnership with our families
