Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Duties

Deliver exceptional childcare by ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring that each child's needs are met. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development and sharing insights with parents. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance learning experiences within the nursery environment. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early years education.
