We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children to explore and learn
Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of childcare and education are upheld
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily routines
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
Lead by example in demonstrating good behaviour, organisation, and professionalism
Assist with the organisation of nursery events and activities to enhance children's learning experiences
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or attending external activities
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Organised, proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and learning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 26,000.00-29,000.00 per year
