Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our small nursery based in spacious church premises opposite the stadium in Tottenham ,opening in January. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 1-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, catering to the individual needs of each child. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive nursery environment, demonstrating strong management and leadership skills. Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through appropriate interactions and guidance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies within the nursery setting. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare practices.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated management and leadership abilities to guide junior staff effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel if necessary for nursery activities or outings. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development is essential.
