About the Role



We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Regional Support Manager

to provide operational leadership across a group of early years settings. This pivotal role supports the Regional Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care, while maintaining full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

In the absence of the Regional Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the region, working closely with Nursery Managers to deliver strong outcomes for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities



Provide operational leadership across multiple nursery settings, ensuring consistency in quality and standards Act as Regional Manager when required, taking full responsibility for regional operations Support Nursery Managers in the effective delivery of early years education, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance Monitor performance against KPIs, driving improvements and accountability across settings Offer coaching and mentoring to help develop and retain high-performing leadership teams Conduct regular site visits, audits and quality checks to ensure compliance and best practice Escalate and report any serious incidents to senior leadership as appropriate Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and training of nursery leadership roles Work closely with the Regional Manager to support business goals and strategic growth

About You



We're looking for a confident and experienced early years professional with a strong track record of leadership across multiple settings.

Essential Requirements:



Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 5 or above preferred) At least three years' experience in a senior leadership role within an early years environment In-depth knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements Experience leading and supporting teams across multiple sites Proven ability to manage regulatory inspections and implement action plans for improvement Strong communication, mentoring, and people management skills Ability to build effective relationships with staff at all levels Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities A flexible, solutions-focused approach to leadership and problem-solving
