About the Role:

As a

Room Leader

, you will be responsible for the daily management of your assigned room (babies, toddlers, or preschool), leading a team to deliver high-quality early years education and care, in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, support and inspire a team of nursery practitioners Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS Track and monitor children's progress through observations and assessments Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues Promote and ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety policies Support staff training and development through coaching and feedback
Requirements:

Level 3 qualification

(or above) in Early Years / Childcare (essential) Minimum of

1 year experience

in a nursery setting Prior experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner (desirable but not essential) In-depth understanding of the

EYFS

and child development Confident leadership, communication, and organisational skills A genuine passion for early years education and nurturing young children
