Responsibilities
Lead and manage the nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the nursery environment.
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and incidents.
Support staff training and development through mentoring and guidance.
Skills
Proven management and leadership skills within a childcare setting.
Experience working with children in a nursery or early years environment is essential.
Strong understanding of childcare practices and early childhood education principles.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
A valid driving licence is preferred for occasional transportation needs related to nursery activities.
