We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team. This role is essential in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our care. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a solid background in childcare and early childhood education. As the Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring that all children receive high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's development across various domains. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery setting. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt programmes accordingly to meet individual needs. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the best outcomes for children.

Requirements



Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a nursery or childcare setting. Strong background in early childhood education, with relevant qualifications preferred. Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating a deep understanding of their developmental needs. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. Ability to drive may be advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities. A caring attitude towards children combined with the ability to maintain professionalism at all times. Commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare practices and educational methodologies. Pay: 12.21-13.80 per hour
