Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our nursery room. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a solid background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children while ensuring compliance with safety and educational standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery room team, providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children in the nursery. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that may occur. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Proven management and leadership experience within a childcare setting. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years environment is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children is crucial.

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour
