Position: Nursery Room Leader

Salary: Up to 31,000 (based on experience)

Location: Monkey Puzzle Walton on Thames, Surrey

Hours: 42.5

Reports to: Nursery Manager

What You Bring:

Passion and Expertise:

A deep understanding of child development, Birth to 5 Matters, and the EYFS curriculum.

Strong Communication Skills:

The ability to engage with children, parents, and your team, providing clear and constructive feedback.

Lead by Example:

Inspire and guide your team, creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children

Commitment to Safety:

A strong focus on safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality, ensuring a secure environment for all.

Qualifications:

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare.

What we are looking for:

We're seeking a special individuals x2 who along with a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification and leadership experience, can bring and share their fun, passion and confidence as an early years professional to lead our vibrant Baby room and Pre school room. As Room Leader, you'll play a key role in shaping children's daily experiences, guiding your team, and ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Leading the planning and delivery of a high-quality, child-centred EYFS curriculum Creating and maintaining inspiring indoor and outdoor learning environments Building strong bonds as room manager and key person, supporting children's development and working closely with families Supporting and motivating your team to ensure best practice and positive outcomes Leading calm, inclusive routines and transitions throughout the day Overseeing observations, assessments, and next-step planning Managing risks and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment Leading team reflections and driving continuous improvement Keeping up to date with best practice and supporting team development Assisting the management team with other management tasks such as opening & closing, administrative duties as required
