About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced

Room Leader

to join our nursery team. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that supports the learning and development of children. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional with proven nursery experience and a Level 3 qualification or above to take on a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team within your allocated room to deliver exceptional care and education. Plan, prepare, and implement engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff. Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times. Oversee the day-to-day running of your room, including staff deployment and resource management.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Level 3 Early Years qualification or above. Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A caring, proactive, and motivated approach to working with children.
