We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Senior to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your energetic approach will inspire young children's growth and development while supporting your team of caregivers. As a key figure in our childcare community, you will promote positive behavior management, implement age-appropriate activities, and uphold high standards of safety and care.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of childcare providers, fostering a collaborative and motivated atmosphere
Plan and execute engaging activities that promote childhood development, including sensory play, early learning exercises, and social interaction
Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness
Maintain detailed records of children's progress, attendance, and health information in compliance with licensing standards
Support children with diverse needs by implementing individualized care plans and collaborating with special education professionals when necessary
Manage classroom routines to create a structured yet flexible environment conducive to learning and exploration
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development, behavior, and daily experiences
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom management skills are essential
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to handle behavior management with patience and positive reinforcement techniques
Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare or nannying context
Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and safety protocols effectively
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members
