Overview



We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and organised

Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our friendly team. You will play an important role in promoting our nurseries, supporting new families through their childcare journey, and ensuring our settings remain at full occupancy. Your work will help provide children with the very best start in life.

Responsibilities



Respond to nursery enquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, video, in person). Organise and schedule nursery show-arounds, and follow up with families afterwards. Explain childcare fees and government funding options clearly to parents/carers. Collaborate with managers and directors to monitor and report on nursery occupancy. Maintain accurate records of all leads and client interactions using CRM software. Contribute ideas to support marketing strategies and improve client experience. Send out nursery welcome packs to prospective families. Support an inclusive, respectful and culturally sensitive service for all families.

Skills & Experience



We are looking for someone who is:

Confident in sales and customer engagement, with a natural ability to build rapport. Knowledgeable or willing to learn about childcare funding options and fee structures. Excellent at written and verbal communication. Skilled in using IT systems and CRM tools to manage enquiries and client records. Detail-oriented, well-organised and proactive. Marketing & Sales



To manage incoming enquiries in our nurseries. Assist answering questions and helping the clients in obtaining information about the services available across the nurseries. Face to face, phone, post or electronically. This will include providing childcare fee information and government childcare funding options. To follow-up enquiry leads, understanding the needs of customers and building a good relationship. Present the services favourably and in a structured professional way. Liaise with respective setting managers on all leads and nursery showarounds. Answers questions from clients about our nurseries and the benefits of registering with us. Each nursery has unique selling points. Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service. Track all enquiries, conversations and conversions using CRM software. Work with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies and how to make them work

Duties



Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends. Prepare promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentations. Maintain the customer database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Support the sales team by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports. Collaborate with team members on social media content creation and management. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Provide administrative support as needed to ensure efficient department operations.

Requirements



Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in a sales or marketing role is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
