Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a clean and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high hygiene standards. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality of work. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

Experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with safe handling practices. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.

Pay: 12.75-13.50 per hour
