We are a long-established, award-winning nursery with an excellent reputation, where outdoor play sits at the heart of our curriculum. We pride ourselves on the rich learning opportunities created through strong relationships between staff and children. We are currently recruiting for our Preschool Room (ages 3-5) at our Kingswells branch.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and creative individual who views the world with curiosity and excitement. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, a love of the outdoors, and a desire to help create meaningful, fun-filled experiences and lasting memories.

Important Information for Applicants:

Applicants must be willing to work towards gaining a recognised childcare qualification. Our training centre will support and guide you throughout this process.

This is a physically active and demanding role. You must be prepared for a full-time position involving long periods of standing, moving, outdoor activity, and hands-on engagement with children.

This is a full-time role of at least 40 hours per week.

Supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-5

Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences

Requirements:

Experience working with children is preferred

A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn

Job Type:

Schedule:

Hours between 7:30am-6:00pm Monday to Friday

Work Location:

In person - unit 4, Great Western Pre-School, Kingswells Village centre, Kingswood drive, Aberdeen, AB15 8TG. (Applicants must be able to reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting)

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
