As a Nursery Trainee, you will assist in providing high-quality care and education to children, supporting their learning and development through engaging activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the daily care of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness. Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to maintain a positive nursery environment. Help manage classroom behaviour by encouraging positive interactions. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery setting. Observe and record children's progress, sharing feedback with senior staff. Work collaboratively with team members to support both children and families.
Requirements

A genuine interest in early childhood education and childcare. Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is preferred (for nursery-related travel purposes). Leadership qualities, with the confidence to manage small groups of children. A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as part of a dynamic team. Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.

Pay: From 7.55 per hour
