Job Description

Transport staff member required for busy Childrens Day Nursery based in Bedwas, Caerphilly.

This post is 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.00 am - 6.00 pm. Exceeds NMW.

The key duties of the role include assisting the Transport Manager in transporting the children safely using the nursery vehicles to school and nursery sites through the day. Following policies and procedures, considering all aspects of health and safety as well as working in line with CIW requirements.

In all aspects of work, you should aim to provide the highest standards of care possible for the children. When making decisions, the safety, wellbeing and security of the children in your care have priority at all times.

It is essential that the successful candidate holds a full clean driving licence.

Its is desirable that the successful candidate hold d a level 2, 3 or 5 Childcare/Early Years qualification however this is not essential. An Enhanced DBS check is required for the role, the cost of the DBS must be met by the applicant.
