Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join Kids at Heart as a room head at our Knaresborough setting to cover maternity leave, and the possibility of a longer term position for the right candidate .

We are looking for someone that has had experience working within a nursery setting that feels that they have the ability to support the running of the room along side the team as well as having the passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.

A relevant and recognised Level 3 in Early years is essential to fulfil the needs of the role, as well as a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and legislative requirements for working with children.

As room head you will lead, mentor, support and inspire the team to deliver first class care and education that develops and meet the children's individual needs. You will promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, safeguarding and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues and parents of the setting, and outside professionals.

The hours are between 30 to 40 hours a week, working at least 3 days, this is to be discussed at the interview.
