We have an exciting opportunity for a nursing associate or assistant practitioner to join the team on Sandringham ward. If you have the qualities described above then we want you to think about coming to be part of our team.


Main duties of the job




Sandringham ward is a 16 bed male functional admission ward. As part of our ongoing strive for excellence we are developing a 'care team' approach around patient centred care.



The Nursing associate will take part in ongoing assessments, they will plan, deliver and evaluate the needs of our service users, in accordance with their Care Plans. They will take part in ongoing risk assessments, recognising and responding to any changes, ensuring that the care and safety of the service user remains the priority. Nursing associate will work as part of the MDT under the supervision of qualified nurses.



The role also provides the opportunity to provide therapeutic interventions, both 1:1 and within a group setting, to further enhance the care and support offered to our service users.

Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register Care Certificate #

Experience

Previous experience of working in an NHS health care setting

Reasonable confidence and competence in using IT systems (e.g. Outlook, Word, clinical or other record systems) relevant to the role. #
