:
Assist the Chef in the preparation of meals.
Undertaking preparation, plating and serving of meals to Residents, staff, and visitors as required.
Preparing and heating up breakfast items and serving as required.
Heating up or baking prepared supper food and serving as required.
Preparing sandwiches as required by the Chef.
Providing necessary crockery, cutlery, trays and serving utensils
Ensuring that the trolleys are clean and well presented before being transported to the floors for serving.
Thoroughly cleaning all serving trolleys after each meal.
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
We provide our staff with the training required for the role, so no direct kitchen experience is required, although it is beneficial.
A background in Customer Service or a People Oriented Environment is desirable.
Individuals who can adapt well to working as a team and independently
Individuals who have good verbal and written communication
Evidence of having undertaken relevant training i.e. health & safety, food hygiene is not required, although it is beneficial.
