Job Description

Uppingham Surgery is seeking to recruit a NVQ2 Dispenser. We employee a diverse multidisciplinary team looking after 12,800 patients in the beautiful market town of Uppingham, situated just off the A47, we can be reached within an easy commutable distance.

Full time

: up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6:30pm. Compressed hours will be considered.

Hourly rate

: 13.17

Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Accurately dispensing and checking dispensed prescriptions Ordering stock and maintaining stock control levels Adhere to practice Standard Operating Procedures DSQS & CQC Compliance Telephone duties Administrative tasks

What we look for in your application:

NVQ2 Dispensary qualification Experience in a similar role IT skills (Knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous however full training is provided) Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills; dealing with patients in a conscientious and empathetic manner keeping positive, friendly, and calm Confident and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure Experience of working in a team and using your own initiative Ability to abide by strict confidentiality
