Overview
We are seeking a skilled oak framing carpenter to join our team. This role is predominately in our workshop nr Midhurst producing high quality oak framed buildings working with a highly skilled team.
Duties
Cutting oak framed building and structures Using all modern hand tools using workshop machinery in-depth knowledge traditional oak framing methods Hand cutting traditional roofs On-site frame and roof erection forklift operation Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all activities
Skills
5yrs + experience cutting oak framed buildings General carpentry skills proficient in traditional hand cut roofs Forklift driving confident using workshop machinery Good understanding of health and safety Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical fitness suitable for manual works
We are looking for a motivated individual with a background in carpentry and specializing in oak framing the ideal candidate would be located in the Midhurst/ Petersfield area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
