Observability Engineer with Dynatrace, Prometheus

We are looking for an experienced

Observability Engineer

with strong expertise in Dynatrace dashboarding to join our team. This role is critical in designing and implementing advanced monitoring solutions that ensure application performance and reliability across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and optimise

Dynatrace dashboards

to deliver actionable insights. Implement observability best practices across

metrics, logs, and traces

. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance system performance and resilience. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide proactive solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Dynatrace Expertise:

Several years of hands-on experience, including advanced dashboard creation.

Observability Tools:

Strong knowledge of

Prometheus

,

Grafana

, and time-series databases.

APM Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of Application Performance Monitoring concepts and tools.

Cloud & Containerisation:

Familiarity with

AWS

,

Azure

, or

Google Cloud

, and technologies like

Kubernetes

.

Programming & Architecture:

Working knowledge of

Java

,

Python

, and microservices architecture.

Web Technologies:

Understanding of

HTML

CSS

JavaScript

, and networking protocols.

Problem-Solving:

Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
