Job Description

My Baby 4D Watford is a clinic based in Watford that provides high quality private obstetric and gynaecology ultrasounds, blood tests and screening services.

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated sonographer with good bedside manner who is thorough with their scanning and reporting. We require someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who is passionate in providing an outstanding customer experience.

MyBaby4D Sonographer duties:

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality. Accurately record and document findings, preparing detailed reports. Providing detailed reporting for referrals where necessary. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the scanning process. Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, explaining procedures clearly. Working with the management team and reception staff to ensure a premium client experience. Maintain strict adherence to professional standards, clinic protocols, and health & safety guidelines. Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to service improvement. Promote a patient focused approach to care; ensuring all client areas are safe and fit for purpose. You will be required to undertake a range of duties using complex or sensitive information and will maintaining their dignity at all times. Role may include training of junior ultrasound staff.

What we are looking for:

Accredited qualification(s) in Obstetric & Gynaecological Ultrasound with 2+ years experience (incl. NHS experience): Early Pregnancy Scans Obstetric Ultrasound Pelvic Ultrasound You must be registered with at least one of the following: HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council) NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) GMC (General Medical Council) BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society)
