Inspire Through teaching - Become a Tutor in Prison Education
Milton Keynes College Prison Services Team is seeking Occasional Tutors to join our education team at HMP Huntercombe. This is a unique opportunity to share your creativity with learners. The occasional tutor will provide cover for existing tutors in a range of subjects including ESOL, English, Maths and Digital Skills.
We are looking for teachers who can deliver engaging, hands-on sessions across the curriculum. Whether you are an experienced tutor or seeking move into teaching with the prison setting, your passion and creativity are what matter most.
ESOL, Maths, English and Digital Tutors are needed to cover and enrich our curriculum.
A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential - if you have industry experience or a strong subject specialism, we will support you to gain a teaching qualification.
Education runs all year round, Monday-Thursday (08:30-11:30 and 13:30-16:30.
