Corporate Personal Wellbeing are looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join their team of health and fitness professionals based in the North-East of England. Our business supports a large range of clients in all aspects to do with the health and wellbeing of their employees. We provide a comprehensive range of workplace wellbeing services to help keep organisations in the best shape possible.

Responsibilities



These will depend on the clients needs but could include any/all of the following

Conduct health surveillance assessments and screenings for employees to identify potential health risks ensuring compliance with legal and best practice requirements. (such as spirometry, audiometry and skin surveillance).

Deliver complex case management and or clinical advice through the identification of possible reasons for ill health or injury.

Following managers referrals provide advice, recommendations, and evidence-based treatment to address the presenting problem/s and offer solutions to address any underlying issues.

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.

Educate employees on health-related topics, including ergonomics, stress management, and wellness initiatives.

Skills


- Strong patient care skills with a focus on holistic approaches to employee health.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy to assess injuries and illnesses effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex health information clearly to employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
- Proficient in using healthcare technology for documentation and patient management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in occupational health scenarios.

This role is essential for fostering a healthy work environment that prioritises employee well-being while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years' experience as an OHN

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

Valid NMC level one registration

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 38,782.36-44,250.35 per year
