Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Occupational Health Technician (OHT) to join our team. This role involves conducting health and wellbeing assessments and screening. The ideal candidate will be able to

speak both English and Polish

, possess strong communication skills, be empathetic and keen to develop their knowledge and skills. You must hold a full UK driving licence as driving is an essential part of this role.

This job would suit a current experienced OHT looking for a new challenge or someone wanting to get into this field. Please note that daily travel, shift work and overnight stays ans occasional weekends form part of this role.

Duties

Conduct health surveillance screenings and wellbeing assessments for employees, including vision, hearing, and respiratory evaluations on client sites in the UK. Maintain accurate records of health assessments and onward referrals, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Educate employees on health and safety practices, promoting awareness of occupational hazards. Assist in the implementation of health promotion programmes within the organisation. Visit client sites

around the UK

when required and drive a mobile medical unit when required. Some overnight stays will be required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Ability to work independently and flexibly as well as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in workplace health standards. Full UK driving licence
