This is a temporary Occupational Therapist Assistant role at Elysium Healthcare's Brighton & Hove Clinic, which provides a CAMHS Tier 4 Eating Disorder service for young people aged 12 to 18 years. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of structured activities and assisting in the planning of individual and group therapeutic interventions to help service users achieve their goals and access appropriate services.
Main duties of the job
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities in order to measure progression and ensure effectiveness. You will build one-to-one rapports with service users to encourage participation in activities and empower recovery. This role is available as a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week, with a part-time option of 22.5 hours per week, and shift patterns include weekend work.
