Provide Occupational therapy for a mental health rehabilitation & recovery hospital

Job Overview

Set within a safe and therapeutic environment, this private Hospital located in Dewsbury is a 32 bedded locked service, supporting two different service user groups:

Ward 1 which is a 16 bed ward focusing on the active rehabilitation and recovery of men with mental health issues. The emphasis is on stabilising mental health, reducing risks and enhancing independent living skills, with a view to reintegration into the community or supportive living.

Ward 2 which is a 16 bed ward that supports men with neuro-cognitive disorders namely, dementia, and behaviours that challenge. Many have a number of physical heath needs

Requirements

The post holder will be qualified and registered with HCPC Preferred experience in dementia and mental health care. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients and relatives.

Pay: 38,000.00 per year
