Are you an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about children with complex needs? We have a new and exciting opportunity for a band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the team based at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead.
Within this post you will have the opportunity to work as part of an experienced team of therapists in a mix of community settings, early years settings, homes and schools having independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload.
Responsibilities of this job role
Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs
Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providing support to more junior staff
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCP Assessment process and tribunals as required
Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and interventions, for a paediatric caseload
Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
OT Qualification and experience mandatory
HCPC registration mandatory
RiO training desirable
Car driver, valid UK driving license and ability to travel between sites essential
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
Relevant Qualifications
Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
