This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident OT who's passionate about empowering independence and delivering high-quality, client-centred support.

About the role:



In this role, you'll complete holistic assessments for adults with long-term or complex needs, and work with service users, families, and professionals to deliver effective care and equipment plans. You'll also supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and contribute to service planning, development, and review.

Key Responsibilities:



Carry out comprehensive assessments and re-assessments in the community Design and implement occupational therapy care plans to promote independence Order, coordinate, and monitor specialist equipment and adaptations Supervise and support OT Assistants in their daily tasks Maintain accurate records and documentation using the Council's systems Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other professionals to build support packages aligned with Fair Access to Care criteria Monitor outcomes to ensure interventions are effective and person-centred

What you'll need:



A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification Registration with the

HCPC

Previous experience in community-based OT practice Strong understanding of disability, independence, and reablement principles Confidence in supervising others and leading on care planning Excellent communication and case recording skills A proactive and inclusive approach to care delivery
