We have an exciting opportunity for a Occupational Therapy assistant to join us!
The Occupational Therapy Assistant role is within the Integrated care team (LAP) which consists of Community Matrons, Mental Health Practitioners, Social Workers, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Social Care Practitioners.
The LAP team support people with multidisciplinary support to look at the needs of the resident in a holistic way helping to prevent longer term challenges and admissions to hospital.
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of 24,895 to 28,132 per annum.

The Role:
The
Occupational Therapy Assistant
role plays a crucial part in supporting people with multidisciplinary support needs, looking at the needs of the resident in a holistic way helping to prevent longer term challenges and admissions to hospital.
The role is supervised closely by an Occupational Therapist who you will report to.
Your role will involve:
Assessments and interventions for residents with physical disabilities, not excluding cognitive decline
Working with other professionals to support identified outcomes
Holding and managing a case load
What we are looking for:
An individual with some experience of working in a care setting either in a community or hospital setting
A good understanding of IT with skills including MS office, work, and excel
Must hold a UK driving license
