(Occupational Therapy) Supported Assistant Practitioner/Assistant Practitioner| 7852| Permanent contract | 27,711 to 32,654 per annum (Scale F/G) | 37 hours per week | Broadland District Council



We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our Integrated Housing Adaptation Team (IHAT) as part of the Northern Locality Adult Community Care Team, working within the Broadland District Council (BDC) as a part of the IHAT. The team consists of Team Leader, Technical Officers, Occupational Therapists and Administration Support based at the Broadland and South Norfolk District Council offices in Thorpe St Andrew.



We are looking to recruit a new team member who is committed to working with our service user group of people over 18 who have difficulty accessing facilities in or around their homes. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal sensitively with service users and their families/carers. The ability to manage conversations and customer expectations effectively is vital. You will be able to produce written assessments to a high standard and be able to understand and apply relevant legislation accurately. You will be given training and induction regarding occupational therapy equipment and adaptations to enable clients to become more independent in their homes.
