We collect clinical, offensive, medical & washroom waste and provide hygiene services all over the North of England and Northern Wales. We are looking for drivers to join our expanding team.

Clinical Waste Operative/Driver based in Wigan

Hours per week and Shift times: Monday to Friday 5.30am - 1.30pm (some flexibility required)

40 Hours Per week, overtime available.

Rate: 12.50 per hour (increase after probation period), all overtime paid.

Description:

Collecting Clinical Waste from Nursing Homes, Nurseries, Dentists, Doctors, etc. Collecting sanitary waste from washrooms. Servicing washroom equipment by replacing air freshener refills, batteries, vending machine products, urinal mats, etc. Input collection and deliveries on an I-Pad. A company van and fuel card are provided. A DBS check is required and will be paid for by the employer. 28 days holiday per year including bank Holidays.

Requirements:

Able to hand ball items on and off vehicles Reliable and flexible Able to use your own initiative Trustworthy Full clean driving license Experience of working in a similar industry is an advantage Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vehicles (or similar) Must be a confident user of technology, specifically iPads
Summary
As an Offensive Waste Operative (Driver), you will be a vital team member responsible for safely and efficiently transporting offensive waste materials. With core skills in driving and a valid driving license, you will operate commercial vehicles to collect and dispose of waste. Your premium skill in commercial driving will ensure compliance with regulations and timely waste removal. Leveraging your relevant experience as a delivery driver and knowledge of mechanical operations, you will navigate routes, communicate effectively, and handle waste disposal tasks with precision. Pay: 12.50-12.60 per hour
