We are a truck haulage company specializing in aggregates, earthmoving, plant and construction services seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a professional phone manner, and proficiency in office software.
Duties
Manage daily office operations, including answering phones and greeting visitors
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Prepare documents such as worksheets using Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and various haulage software
Handle correspondence, including emails and tickets
Maintain filing systems and ensure all documents are organised and easily accessible
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, various business software is used but training provided.
Administrative experience with a focus on clerical tasks
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
Typing proficiency for efficient data entry
