We are seeking a confident, capable, and experienced

Office Administrator

to join our busy independent car sales and repair garage.

Previous administrative experience is

essential

. Experience in the motor trade is a

strong advantage

, though not required.

Key Responsibilities



Handle customer enquiries in person, by phone, and via email Create repair estimates and promote additional services where appropriate Schedule service and repair work, maintaining the service diary efficiently Create, manage, and file job cards Order parts from multiple suppliers and track deliveries Process vehicle sales documentation and maintain accurate records Submit warranty claims and communicate with customers regarding progress Maintain both digital and paper-based filing systems Prepare and issue invoices for service and sales, and process customer payments Liaise with workshop staff to coordinate workflow and ensure productivity

What We're Looking For



Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency with computers and confidence learning new systems (full training provided) Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and remain organised in a fast-paced environment

Essential Requirements



Previous experience in an administrative role Clear and fluent communication in English (spoken and written) Full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential)



Experience in the motor trade or a similar garage environment Basic mechanical knowledge Previous customer service experience
