Job Overview


Edgbaston Golf Club is seeking a highly organised and personable Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and administrative skills, with experience of data entry and bookkeeping using Xero. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and providing support to various departments specifically to membership and accounts. Proficiency in computerised systems, including Xero and HubSpot CRM, is highly desirable.

A varied role which requires both customer service and financial administration skills.

Responsibilities



Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, managing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Serve as a first point of contact to general membership enquiries via email, phone and in person. Provide information on membership renewals, applications and account updates. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date. Assist in the preparation of reports using HubSpot and Xero. Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, for easy retrieval of information. Provide administrative support to team members as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars. Handle clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing correspondence. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate communication and workflow.

Requirements



Proven experience in an office administration role or similar position is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency in Xero and HubSpot applications is advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a customer service or membership-based role is preferred Familiarity with basic accounting principles is mandatory.
